You are a childhood friend of the star twins. You grew up in the same suburb as them. In the next house, so you were neighbors. Going to the same school, and how to say, making up a small company of the 3 of you, you became very attached to these two blockheads. After Velvet expressed the idea that she wanted to become famous, you supported her, everything was going well, until the moment you found out that they want to build a career as singers! You, like no one else, knew very well that they sang disgustingly. But, Veneer convinced you that they will practice, and everything will work out. Seeing their breathtaking performances on stage and their performance, you did not believe them, and decided to break off your friendship with them, although it hurt you. You heard their songs from literally every teapot, you were pretty tired of it. And so, after a disastrous performance, after the terrible secret of their popularity became known to all Mount Rageons, the twins were taken into custody. Of course, the first couple of days in prison weren’t so bad, at least for Veneer... as a result, you received a call on your phone, it’s surprising that Velvet called you and not her parents. Damn it, it was you who paid the deposit for them too. “Ugh! prison is just disgusting! They literally fed us slop and gave us some rags, calling them clothes! They treated me like I was some kind of animal in a cage without freedom!“ Velvet's screams rang loudly as the girl actively gesticulated and recounted all the details of her imprisonment with disgust. Veneer, in turn, walked quietly, saying nothing, only sighing occasionally. “It’s all your fault!” - After these words, Velvet slapped Veneer in the face and continued “Who asked you to say anything at all?! I don't think I asked! Because of you, we lost everything! Fame, money, fans, our influence! Are you satisfied now? Mister Justice!?“ Her screams turn almost into hysterical screams, Veneer accepts the slap in the face, but then slowly frowns the more she thinks. "so what? all this was not ours, it was not our merits and we got what we deserved. everything was your plan from the beginning, I initially thought it was terrible." After these words, one would think that Velvet would attack and strangle her brother, but then you intervened in the conversation. “Well Vel, but now you know what it was like for Floyd when you kept him in the bank, absolutely the same as you in prison, maybe even worse... you didn’t have to constantly listen to two huge idiots)” You nodded approvingly to Veneer, trying to hide your little giggles, seeing how Veneer looks away in shame and Velvet blushes with anger, you realize that you really missed these two upstarts.

— After the race, you and Lhea headed back to the hotel while Liv returned to her apartment after dropping you both off. It had been a long day, and all you wanted was to relax in the comfort of your bed. The rising tension on the internet about you was getting hard to ignore, and you'd been doing your best to stay off Twitter. Despite everything happening in your life, you still found ways to enjoy it and not let others deter you.

"Earth to YN." You blinked, realizing you were already in front of your hotel room. "Oh, right, the key." You unlocked the door and stepped inside, kicking off your sandals and immediately collapsing onto the bed. Lhea, unfazed by your dazed state, grabbed a bottle of water and handed it to you. "Here, hydrate." You accepted it with a grateful nod.

"So, you're basically famous now," she teased. You groaned at the reminder. "I don't even want to think about it," you sighed, setting the bottle aside.

"What's so bad about being famous?" she laughed, trying to lighten the mood.

"A lot. But mainly, it's how people invade your privacy," you explained, checking your phone and seeing thousands of Instagram notifications. People were commenting on old posts that you hadn't bothered to limit. You decided to let them be, knowing ignoring the chaos wouldn't make it disappear.

"Well, we're going home tomorrow. It'll die down soon," Lhea said, patting your back gently. Her sympathetic look quickly turned into a mischievous grin. "What about you and Mister Formula 1 Race Winner, Lando Norris?" You snickered, a smile forming at the mention of Lando. "What about him?"

"Don't play coy! When will you two meet again?" she pressed.

"Hopefully never," you joked with a shrug.

"Well, you should probably meet him now since we're leaving tomorrow," she suggested, her tone hinting at a plan.

"Why don't you go and get us something to eat?" Lhea said, grabbing your wrists and pulling you out of bed, steering you towards the door. You rolled your eyes at her obvious scheme but decided to play along. You slipped on your sandals and grabbed your spare key.

Lhea opened the door and gave you a gentle shove out. "Update me!" she called before closing the door behind you.

You scrolled through your phone while waiting for your order. Hotel food was nice, but it was starting to feel repetitive. When your order was called, you tucked your phone away and grabbed your food and drink from the counter. As you turned to leave, you nearly collided with someone. Luckily, they caught you with a gentle grip on your shoulders, preventing a spill.

"I'm so sorry—" you began, looking up to see the person who had saved your drink. It was him, the reason you had even went out despite your exhaustion. "Hi," you managed, offering an awkward smile.

"We can't keep meeting like this," he chuckled, releasing his hold on you. "I feel like my clothes are never safe when we meet." You laughed nervously, "I'm sorry, I was spacing out."

"It's alright," he assured.

A man squeezed between you, prompting an awkward shuffle to the side. "Uh, YN," he said, catching your attention. "Wanna hang out for a few minutes?" Lando's unexpected invitation caught you off guard, but you nodded eagerly. He motioned towards an empty seat by the window, and you followed him, feeling a rush of excitement.

As you settled into your seats, a waitress approached to take your order. "I'll just have an iced tea, thank you," you told her. Lando raised an eyebrow, "You're not eating?" You shook your head. "I already ate before you arrived," you explained. Lando nodded in understanding.

"Well, if you want, you can take some of my food," he offered with a warm smile. You returned the smile, appreciating his generosity.

After placing your order, the waitress left, leaving you and Lando alone at the table. "So, is this your go-to spot after celebrating a race?" you asked playfully. Lando chuckled, shaking his head. "No, usually it's the bar with a few friends, or I head straight back to where I'm staying and sleep."

"So, why a diner today?" you inquired, curious about his choice. Lando explained that a friend of his had been craving food from this place and asked him to pick some up. "Won't he be upset if his food takes too long?" you wondered. Lando shrugged. "He'll survive a few extra minutes without food," he replied, prompting a laugh from both of you.

As you chatted, time seemed to fly by. You shared laughs over embarrassing and interesting stories and bonded over shared interests. It felt comfortable and easy, unlike your previous encounters with the F1 driver.

"To think, accidentally taking my bag led to this," Lando remarked, a smile playing on his lips. You chuckled. "I'm pretty sure it was me spilling my drink on you that started it all," you countered. Lando shook his head. "Nah uh," he said, a brief silence before laughter took over.

"It's been really nice meeting you, YN," Lando said, his gaze sincere. Your cheeks flushed with warmth. "Y-yeah, it was nice meeting you too, Lando," you replied, feeling a sense of gratitude for the unexpected connection you had made.

And with that, the night went on with Lando spending his first race win celebration with you.

"Lhea, make sure everything is packed, okay?" you called back to your friend, who nodded in acknowledgment as she watched you rush to the elevator. It was your last day in Miami, and you were eager to spend it hanging out with your newfound friend— and crush —Lando Norris. Though it was just a small crush, the many coincidental encounters with him had made it blossom into something more.

Arriving in the hotel lobby, you spotted Lando sitting and waiting for you. He stood up as you approached, stashing his phone away to greet you. As he walked over, he gave you a friendly side hug, which you gladly returned. "So, where should we go?" you asked, smiling up at him as you both pulled away. "I was thinking a classic movie date and then maybe we can try go Karting?" Lando suggested.

The word "date" caused a flutter of excitement in your stomach, but you quickly composed yourself and nodded. "Yep, that sounds nice. Can't remember the last time I went to the cinema with someone other than my girlfriends," you chuckled, trying to play it cool.

Lando let out a silent sigh of relief, grateful that you didn't seem to dwell on the word "date." He mentally scolded himself for slipping up. This was just a friendly hangout, nothing more.

"Shall we?" you prompted, nodding towards the door. Lando nodded in agreement, and you walked together, side by side, as you headed out for your movie hangout.

"Got everything?" he asked, as you checked your luggage one last time to make sure nothing was missing.

"Yep, all set," you confirmed, adjusting the strap on your bag.

"Please don't accidentally grab someone's bag again," he teased, a playful grin spreading across his face.

You rolled your eyes and chuckled, "No promises."

For a few moments, the two of you stood there in silence, neither wanting to say goodbye. Lando took a step forward and pulled you into a full hug. Surprised, you initially froze, but then you relaxed into the embrace, savoring the moment. He finally pulled away, clearing his throat awkwardly.

"I'll see you in Imola, I hope," he said, his eyes searching yours.

You gave him a big, warm smile. "I hope so too. We'll keep in contact?"

Lando nodded. "We'll keep in contact," he reassured.

Turning away, you started walking into the terminal. Just before entering, you glanced back and waved a small goodbye, catching his smile one last time.

If you thought the singles released prior to the album were indicative of the direction this LP would take, think again. Y/n’s highly anticipated latest release, "TIDES," is an ambitious and masterful exploration of love's euphoria and its darker, toxic undertones. Known for her sultry R&B style, y/n transcends genre boundaries in this 15-track opus, weaving together dance, electronic, pop, and reggae influences to craft a cohesive narrative.

The album opens with "Cellophane," a haunting electronic ballad reminiscent of FKA Twigs' ethereal work. This opening track is something we’ve never seen from y/n, yet her delicate vocals float over a sparse, echoing production, setting a tone of vulnerability and foreshadowing the emotional journey ahead. This track is a stunning prologue, drawing listeners into a world where love is as fragile as the titular cellophane.

As we transition to the 3rd track of the album "Forgive Me," the album's pulse quickens. The track opens with a haunting, ethereal intro that quickly gives way to a pulsating beat and assertive bass line, setting a commanding tone. Y/n’s and Halle’s harmonies are immediately striking, blending seamlessly while each woman’s distinct vocal timbre adds depth and texture to the song. Their voices convey both strength and a sense of liberation as they sing about reclaiming their power and refusing to apologize for their choices. Mid-album, "Doo Wop (That Thing)" introduces a surprising but seamless shift. I won’t blame anyone for mistaking her single “Kill Bill” as the climax of the album. That is what y/n wants you to believe but the climax arrives with "Mary Magdalene" an electronic ballad that ties with the opening track “Cellophane.” For me "Mary Magdalene," is a standout, embodying the album's central themes. Drawing on the figure of Mary Magdalene, y/n reclaims and redefines her story, exploring themes of femininity, devotion, and resilience. The song's intricate layering and hypnotic rhythms create an almost spiritual experience, inviting listeners to delve into its complex emotional landscape. The production is haunting, with distorted synths and echoing beats mirroring the disintegration of trust and affection. y/n’s vocal performance here is raw and powerful, her pain palpable as she sings, "a woman’s touch, a sacred geometry. I know where you start where you end. How to please, how to curse.”

"TIDES" concludes with "Mirrored Heart," a poignant ballad that brings the narrative full circle, echoing the album’s opening. With an album so tumultuous listeners would probably wish for a sense of closure. This song does not give you that, rather you’ll be left questioning ‘what’s next.” y/n’s voice, both fragile and resilient, lingers long after the final note.

In "TIDES," y/n not only expands her musical palette but also delivers a profound and relatable story. This album is a testament to her artistry, marking her as a versatile, timeless and fearless force in contemporary music. It’s a disjointed album, songs sometimes seem out of place, but like the title “TIDES,” suggests, and given the situation that inspired the album, that is exactly the atmosphere y/n was looking to create.

So I've been rereading skip beat from the beginning for the first time in uhhhhh almost 10 years and I'm going inSaNE over characterizations and development that I have to write it down

At this point I'm only at the Heel siblings arc so I haven't gotten to the Guam or Saena arcs which are very big for Kyoko and Ren's character development and healing which I haven't reread since those chapters came out

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Nakamura for basing Kyoko and Ren's childhood struggles and trauma on very real things that aren't often, if at all, dealt with in anime/manga and also writing them with utmost care (Not only do the traumas inform their personalities, but their healing arcs aren't just a one and done thing!! It's a very slow process) Like starting with Kyoko, her single mother neglected her so much that she was raised by a family friend. On top of that, nothing Kyoko did was ever good enough for her mother, and both of these things are so apparent in Kyoko's character. She attaches herself to fairytales and magic as an escapism and because she relates to stories like Cinderella. She literally cannot function if she messes up and no one criticizes her. She can't properly acknowledge her own talents and beauty without it being attached somehow to fairytales; she never quite believes shes good enough. Similarly, she didn't want to bother anyone with her troubles, so she always dealt with them alone/in private spaces. Pretty sure she also has lowkey abandonment issues. And this is all parental trauma!! Things she already has before the series starts and she gets so utterly heartbroken she swears off romantic love entirely so she can never get hurt the same way again.

(I don't think I'll ever get over how Kyoko told all this to Kuu and he was literally like I'm adopting you. Your mine now. Sorry I don't make the rules ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And Kuu going home to his wife like hey we got a new kid 😂 Like Kyoko freezing up when she made mistakes and then Kuu showing her love instead of reprimanding her makes me go 🥹😩💖✨😭💝 Kyoko getting all fluffy from head pats🥹🥹 But on the downside she literally can't bring herself to call him dad unless she's in acting mode sjdfhsf)

When I really consider it, I wonder if Kyoko really loved Sho as a person or like.... the idea of him. Like he was just a convenient guy via proximity bc Kyoko needed someone to be her "prince". We haven't been shown exactly why she fell in love, but it would explain why she stuck with dedicating herself to him despite his terrible personality and knowing he never saw her the same way. It's portrayed like the concept of hatsukoi in anime where its ✨pure✨and innocent✨It seems very idealistic. Whereas Kyoko's love for Ren is more mature. She sees every aspect of Ren and doesn't sugarcoat it, she sees him as he is (she does him up on a pedestal but partially bc she admires him but also as an extreme measure to protect her heart and hide her feelings imo)

And REN. trauma to the max. He had to deal with the hardships of making a name for himself when his parents are already famous, extreme racism from being biracial, his friend/mentor dying from an accident he unintentionally caused???? Like boy hates himself so much he's literally disassociating 24/7 he needs a fucking therapist. I get how being Ren has helped him in some capacity but he needs a professional asap. Though deep diving into this is so interesting because Ren/Kuon compartmentalized his issues and the parts that he hates about himself so much he created its own persona ("Dark Kuon"), to the point he's rarely ever just himself. And he buried it so deep that as soon as he cracked the lid open, those emotions just spilled out. He can't even allow himself to be happy, and when he does feel truly happy, his automatic response is acting nonchalant,,,,,,,,,,,, he didn't even realize he was doing it at first 😢

Also the symbolism with Ren's watch makes me go a little feral. I don't remember if it's originally his or Rick's but it obviously stopped when the latter died and Ren keeps it as a reminder of what happened and why he went to Japan. It's a weird item since it grounds him but also represents his heavy trauma, and I think having those two things in one kinda showcases Ren's unhealthy coping mechanisms (like grounding himself to something traumatic isn't... great...). But that scene where he realizes he took it off and he has a moment of whether it to keep it on as Cain Heel or not??? *clenches fist* it was so good. (To recap it, he had his watch so he wouldn't lose himself in the role of BJ and then forgot it in the bathroom after an unexpected trauma response) Ren narrates his thoughts as choosing between Rick or Kyoko but interpreting this, he's choosing whether to keep himself stuck in his past trauma or move forward and let himself be happy AKA stick with unhealthy coping mechanisms vs try something healthy and rely on people he trusts. Kyoko essentially becomes someone Ren grounds himself to 🥺 He still needs therapy though lmao. He's so mentally unstable in this arc,,,

As I'm writing this I'm seeing a parallel between Kyoko and Ren and how they both had an experience that completely and utterly broke them, and it was this that pushed them onto their current paths in showbiz. And they likely would never have met each other again if those things never happened (they had to lose themselves to find each other?? 😭). It's so funny to me that Ren is all like ThEiR fAtEs ArE iNtErTwInEd with Kyoko and Sho when you have to consider the fact that him and Kyoko meeting again was like. a chance in a billion. It was fate 😂

KyoRen is such a poetic ship to me. The fact that they're different people when they meet and don't recognize the other. How Ren starts falling in love AS SOON AS HE REALIZES KYOKO IS THE SAME GIRL HE MET (Ren being gray/demiromantic.... more at 5). Kyoko lowkey starting to crush on Ren when she witnesses a bit of his real personality. These two things happening around the same time??????? And Ren being SO afraid of being Kuon, his true self, because of his bad qualities, but Kyoko pulling out the good qualities without him fully realizing it?? (I'm 100% referring to Kuon being a mischievous little shit and I live for how he teases Kyoko) tbh they treat each other differently from other people without even realizing it lol. And Kyoko being surrounded by toxic and possessive men pursuing her, and Ren being anything BUT. Like my man is a gigantic green flag. He recognizes that he can't seriously pursue Kyoko bc she's a minor and he really tries his best to only be a friend and mentor in her life and keeping her trust and never crossing her boundaries despite the stereotypes of men being "unable to control themselves." Y'all take point this should be the standard at minimum☝️

I have to talk about Sho bc this boy is so fucking toxic but he makes such a fascinating character. As much as I hate how Kyoko got heartbroken in the way she did, I think it was necessary so that she could leave Sho's sorry ass and cut him out of her life. Seriously,,,, he took advantage of her and used her as a servant. she literally dropped out of school, moved to a different city, and took on two jobs for the sole purpose of helping his career and then he threw her away like a used rag (JUST THROW THE WHOLE MAN AWAY). And then he has the audacity to fall in love with her smh. Anyway the fascinating part about him to analyze is how he's so possessive of Kyoko. Like she was a mere fly in his life, but she was always his. Until she wasn't. And I think those twisted thoughts kinda morphed into feelings for Kyoko. Ig in a way he still cares about her, but it could never hide how toxic he is. Anyone who's like I don't care how this person thinks of me as long as I take up the biggest space in their heart is egotistical and narcissistic. BUT he and Kyoko bickering like siblings will always be funny. Like epitome of two people who've lived with each other for way too long so they know how the other ticks and also get on each other's nerves 😂😂Sho does makes a good foil for Ren though. Like he's basically everything Ren is not: immature, temperamental, possessive, vain, the list goes on. His only redeeming qualities as a character is providing good drama and humor and being an example of what Ren isn't.

Skip Beat is really a story about healing and learning to love yourself and letting others love you and Nakamura is such a good story teller 🥺

You walk back over to Kylian and hand him his food. “So this is the little guy?” Kylian said looking at the kitten at his feet. “Yeah, named him storm.” You said watching the kitten rub against his leg. “Perfect name for him.” Kylian said and took his food with a smile. “Your apartment is very cozy, and comfortable.” He said looking around. “Thank you, did it all myself.”

You offered to sit on the couch so you didn’t have to stand. You both sat on the couch together. “You nervous for your debut?” You asked him as you ate your sandwich. “A little, I mean this is my dream club, it’s nervous thinking I’ll make the wrong choice during the match.” He explained. “That’s totally understandable, I still get a little nervous before competitions.” You said.

The movie played on. It was super corny, it was about a man who is cheating on his wife but they haven’t showed who yet. Then a scene pops up showing who he’s having an affair with. “STOP! He’s having an affair on his wife with her sister!?” You gasp and yell out grabbing Camas wrist looking at him. “Oh it just gets worse and Cornier from here.” Cama stated. “What kinda sick person writes a movie like this?” Kylian said with a confused look. “It’s fiction it’s meant to be like this?” You and Cama almost sat at the same time.

Kylian just sighs and rolls his eyes, he just ends up going on his phone for the rest of the move. There are a few more time were you grab Camas wrist when something corny and unexpected happens. The movie ended and you and Cama talk about the movie and he puts on something random.

“Kylian you staying or leaving?” Cama asked. “I think I’m gonna go.” He said getting off the couch. “Alright man see you tomorrow.” Cama said. You get up and follow Kylian to the door. “Hey? You okay?” You asked noticing something was wrong. “I’m fine, I’ll text you whenever.” He said leaving the house. You shrug your shoulders and go back to Cama.

Cama orders you both some dinner and you watch another random movie before going home. You still wonder why Kylian was acting a little off when he left Camas. He seemed mad almost, but you decided he’ll come to you when he’s ready.

But what they don’t know is that he’s actually Puen who got body-swapped into another universe and of course he’s freaking out on the inside but as a celebrity he has to present well on the outside so he “keeps cool” while not knowing what the heck happened!! He must’ve been so scared that whole time 😖

And the club is pink cause that’s where Talay first fell for Puen! 🥰 He knew he wasn’t Tun from the first glance! And Talay is literally the first good thing and first light of hope in Puen’s scary new world!

I remember so many people had an issue with Puen not telling Talay his real name but honestly it makes sense to me! When I was first watching this show I’d tell my sister little summaries of each episode so I could talk them out with her after watching and I don’t remember why but I started calling Puen Brad Pitt 😅 I think I used it as an example to be like “he’s super famous in their world like Brad Pitt is in ours”. And it makes sense that he wouldn’t want to be seen with whatever opinion people have already made about him. He just wanted to be a regular person and even after Talay got to know him and fall for him that fear of knowing him as “that celebrity that I have X opinion about” was still valid! The fear of losing the love he worked hard to get was strong 😢

I’m thinking of Dol and how he must’ve felt waking up as a woman. He had to learn how to navigate the new world and how to navigate a new body. Do we think the woman he inhabited looked like that when he first switched over? Or did he cut her hair and change her wardrobe to feel more like himself? I mean there’s no telling how long you’ll be in the other world right? I don’t think it’s wrong to give the other person a temporary physical change. It’s crazy how this is only episode 2 but we can already see all the ways Puen and Talay go together! I’m so bad with metaphors and stuff so I can see the colors in the episodes but I struggle to see the deeper meanings of things. I’m trying harder this time around and I can see how the shades of green match the energy of the scenes now. I’ll keep trying to notice them!

Cheryl and Toni just broke up. The famous Choni is now just Cheryl and Toni. It broke hearts left and right, namely the River Vixens, Cheryl's "inner circle", and the serpents. Both women grieved in different ways. Toni drank an unnecessary amount of alcohol within the day, while Cheryl was being more of a menace than usual. 

It was only three weeks after their break-up when Cheryl approached you. Well, more like pestered you. You were the type of person to not give two shits about nearly everything. Your focus remained on your studies and Harvard. So when Cheryl Blossom spoke to you for the first time since freshmen year, you knew it could only be trouble. 

If you were being completely honest, you were indifferent to the whole shebang. You've never paid attention to Cheryl before, nor cared about daily updates about the hottest tea in the school that Cheryl would tell you about. It was fun at first, but now it was getting quite irritating. You enjoyed your solitude greatly, so to have Cheryl sticking to you, was definitely taking a toll on you. 

It started with getting distracted during class. You nearly even fell asleep during one because of how late you had to stay up the previous night just to entertain Cheryl enough to tire her out. Your mind was overtaken by the things Cheryl would talk to you about. Especially the part where she saw Betty and Archie kissing while they were both in good relationships. 

You don't know why it bothered you so much, but when you came to school, you were already expecting Cheryl to be by your locker, leaving you no time to plot an escape plan for the day. It seemed Cheryl never ran out of things to talk to you about, and boy was it tiring as fuck. 

Then came the day when Cheryl "confessed" her feelings for you. She claimed that she has liked you for longer than she could even remember and that all she wanted was for you to give her a chance. When you rejected her, you can swear you saw the anger build up within her, but to your surprise, her voice was calm and almost teasing. 

You half-expected your dynamic with Cheryl to change, and it did, for the most part. She still stuck around you, the story-telling an unending tale, but now the redhead was being touchy. Her hands would grip your biceps whenever the two of you walked the halls. When all was silent between the two of you, Cheryl would rest her head on your shoulder while holding your hand. to add to that, Cheryl also bought you gifts, and she would give them to you throughout the day randomly. Every single day, she had a gift ready to give you. So much so that it worried you she would run out of money because of it.

Cheryl would get you flowers, chocolates, and your favorite food, and she even got you a necklace and a promise ring. Once, she took you out for shopping and when you muttered about finding something cute, not knowing Cheryl heard you, she bought it and surprised you with it when the both of you got to her Thistle house. She would do all of these sweet things for you daily, and, honestly, you couldn't lie and say it didn't make you feel wanted. It was nice to finally feel like this after so much grief and agony.

Right now, you were sitting in the library reading a book while Cheryl sat on your lap, cuddling the life out of you. You tried your best to ignore the woman, but she proved to be a very persistent person. 

"Please, Y/N, I beg thee. Give me a chance," She begged the millionth time this week. "I promise to treat you so well. My love for you will be the most exquisite thing you shall ever experience."It was quite rewarding to hear the Cheryl Bombshell beg for you, but it, honestly, was starting to bother the people who were trying to do the same thing you were. 

"Will you hush? People are getting disturbed by your futile efforts to have me." You relayed, "Besides, I refuse to allow myself to become your rebound.

Cheryl gasped rather dramatically at your deduction of her emotions, "How dare you think so little of my love for you. My love is of the highest price and you shall be grateful for me giving it to you for free! I swear on Thornhill that my love for you is genuine. Believe me, Y/N, my feelings for you are true and my words are trustworthy."

You visibly cringed at Cheryl's raised voice, buried traumatic experiences rising to the surface like they were undead. Heads turned to you and Cheryl, including the librarian's, and that caused you to make the most unthought-of answer to ever exist.

"Fine, fine, I accept!" You whisper shouted, already regretting your choices in life. "Just be quiet."

"Oh, my Y/N, I knew you would come to your senses! Because of this, we must celebrate such a special occasion. Our first date being official." Cheryl spoke with the fakest bright smile you had ever seen. It made you want to roll your eyes. You had not the time for her shenanigans.

Cheryl stood, extending her hand to you, "Come, come my love. We must relocate for this special moment." You merely obeyed silently, taking your book with you.

Throughout your way to wherever Cheryl was taking you, you noticed Cheryl texting on her phone a lot. It's not like you were suspicious, you were just curious. I mean, what could be so interesting that would take her attention away from this "special moment"? It, truly, is only a matter of time. You only rolled your eyes, opting to just let your mind take you away while Cheryl led you somewhere you cared not to know.

When you finally zoned back into the present time, you noticed how you have now moved to Veronica's underground speakeasy. The whole place was mainly empty, the only people occupying the space being you, Cheryl, and a Bartender. Said bartender approached the two of you and led you to the only table in the speakeasy. 

Hmm.

It looked romantic, you had to give Cheryl that, but the thought of this being just a big ploy was still very persistent in your mind. The both of you sat down and you were immediately served with food that looked to be above your daily budget in a week combined. You internally inhaled deeply at this, honestly terrified that you might be the one paying for all that was being brought to your table.

You so could not afford this. Unlike Cheryl, you weren't born to a well-off family. In fact, all you knew was that you grew up in a very uncaring orphanage. Sure, you and the kids there looked out for each other, but you still were not as close to them as they were with each other. 

"My dear, I hope I got your meal right. You are allergic to peanuts, correct?" 

You perked up, "Yes, very."

"I thought so." Cheryl smiled at you and started eating, and you took that as your queue to start eating too. Until she spoke again, "So since we are now official, it would bring me great joy to know more about you."

You swallowed, "Okay?" You really had no idea what to say to that or how to respond. "What do you want me to do?"

"Why, spill the beans, of course! I mean, you don't expect us to just dine here in silence, right?" Her sass. Ugh, her sass.

"Kind of, yes. Well, I grew up in an orphanage and when I turned sixteen, they threw me out. I've been working at Pop's ever since just to get by." You didn't want to get into the nitty-gritty details of your tragic life. Even though you knew that there definitely would not be any judgment, you still wanted to keep all of those to yourself, no matter how many times the school counselor told you that it would help to relay that kind of stuff to someone you knew you could trust. 

"Oh, dear/ I'm so sorry to hear that." Cheryl grabbed your hand, "I hope you know that it can only get better from here. Keep strong, my love, you will have my full support throughout all of this pain."

And the cycle repeated. Cheryl would buy you gifts, take you on dates, be clingy with you, and tell you how much she appreciates you. It shocked you to see just how soft Cheryl truly was. This made you wonder if this was how Cheryl was with Toni. They always seemed like an unfinished chapter. Sometimes you wondered if Cheryl still had feelings for Toni. I mean, of course, she did. They made each other better, they fit each other like a glove, and they are like each other's missing puzzle pieces. They completed each other. It seemed impossible for them to be wholly over. 

As you read your book, finally in the comfort of your own home all alone one afternoon, it seemed your book was uninteresting. This disturbed you greatly considering how you saved up for this book for most of four weeks. You felt oddly dull, and this made you mark your book and toss it across your bed in frustration as the last sentence made absolutely no sense to you. You slid your body down your bed, sighing heavily when none of the activities you thought of doing seemed to interest you. 

You'd been feeling like this for three weeks and you did not understand it at all. it was like there was this weight dragging you back, making it feel like time was at a standstill. So, you just lay there, unmoving in the silence. At some point, you found yourself talking to yourself out loud yet you made no move to stop. you simply took note of the fact that you were likely going crazy. 

"I mean, it's not like it's my fault. I just don't want her." You sighed, "I mean, I do, but I don't know. it's like I want to let her in, but some part of me is saying a hard no. It's pretty stupid honestly."

It went on like that for... you don't know how long. The last thing you remember saying before coming back to the world was "This is just my defense mechanism." Now upon returning to your conscious body, you robotically sat up and went to the kitchen to fish for something to chew on. God, you were starving. To your luck, you found bread and peanut butter in your pantry. 

I guess you're going on a diet.

Was she really doing this?? Was she really going to Blitz carrying a ring for him? She was. Sighing gently, she peeked into the room, standing before him, she said. " I need you to believe that whether I'm famous or not, that you are equal to me, you're the imp I love Blitz, and i wanna prove it to you." She knelt down in front of him, grabbing his hand she held it gently. " I want you forever Blitz, as my partner, as my husband and love, marry me? " She askdx holding out a ring, her expression true as she looked at him. / 😢 she wants him to know that no matter what, he is someone she wants.

Her words did stir his mind to backtrack to their last heated argument, but it wasn't troubling him. They had made up for it, having mended their peronal disputes. However, he wasn't expecting her to kneel to his level. To hold his hand while she-- confessed?

His eye pupils dilated, maw rendered speechless as he let them continue. Brows furrowing, holding onto every word. It was as if the room surrounding them had grown deathly ill. Silent. All he could hear is the vamp demon before him && the pounding of his heart being filled with elevated blood flow. The pressure being so vast-- it tumbled the walls he had confined his heart. Freeing it of his ribbed cage prison. Something he didn't know could be possible-- especially in a place like Hell.

❝ yer... really serious? ❞ he'd murmur at a loss, trying to contain his emotions from spewing out of him. He was scared, overjoyed, taken aback, etc. It compelled his eyes to shake briefly before they glowed. A smile spreading across his facials as he, also, tried to contain his laughter. Given he was wearing his fucking baggy jorts && a babygirl shirt. Not to mention-- being proposed to... when their roles should of been reversed.

Nevertheless, it made him happy -- so, without further delay, he countered her proposal with a smirk.

❝ Well, if the ring fits, then why not? ❞

he'd inquire with a pause, deliberately messing with her before finally giving an honest answer. ❝ FUCK YEAH BITCH! I'm no sugar daddy but... ❞ he cupped his hands over the ring, her hands, looking at her dead on the eye as to-- finally, reciprocate his innermost feelings.

Do you know how Taylor is all of a sudden being seen alot with keleigh teller; I think it mainly because miles ( deservedly ) is getting recognised more, and taylor wants to be in film, so she's flipping through the roledex of friends or like on her eras tour she going past her previous looks in glass boxes that's how I imagined she pick which friend she wants.

But noticing how die hard keleigh is , it quite pathetic ;don't you think? She gives off gretchen from mean girls but is actually more meaner than gretchen. I think she's just excited to have a mega star friend so she doesn't need to constantly leech of nina dobrev who- in her own way is famous but only if you watched the CW show.

But even at the golden globes she was trying to really make it obvious who they were talking about.

Sorry if this isn't going anywhere ... I just feel like keleigh will do something and Taylor will just abandon her or Taylor has found her actual twin frame in keleigh ( being mean girls)

TS wants to have a squad again so KT might last a couple of years more.

Speaking of Miles Teller. Have you seen he is apparently attached to Barry Levinson's “Francis and the Godfather” now? Oh, he better not play the role of Steve McQueen 😡 I can't imagine how heartbroken Joe was over that role 😢

The RWRB fan in me feels a little sad today and I’m not sure why? I’m happy for Nick but I just feel like the more success the pair of them get, the less likely a sequel is. 😢

guys, please please please put aside this fear of "he'll be too famous for a sequel" because this is clearly paranoia stuck in your brain by the haters who have been going on with this story for months. Will he gain more popularity with tioy? yes, definitely but none of that stops someone from making a movie that is just as popular, loved and known especially when he has repeatedly said he is willing to do it. And I repeat that in the first film there was Uma Thurman, Stephen Fry and no one stopped them from doing it because they were too famous and it won't happen to Nick either. Rwrb is not a D series film with D series actors it's a successful prime movie and don't worry Nick will still be available despite everything especially because it's objectively his most successful film so far and so much of the popularity acquired is thanks to that.

Don't worry and avoid reading the haters...

Anne Hathaway literally said that she accepted this film because she doesn't want people to decide what projects she has to make because of her career or that she won an Oscar. But they didn't hear that because it wasn't convenient 😉

My expectations for him were always going back home and finding a nice girl to marry and having this beautiful private life away from the limelight. I guess he can sort of still have that, but I don't envision that he will have much privacy while living in LA. Not to mention, it would have been cool to see Casie being around this new kid, but with them living in different states their dynamic will inevitably be different. Geez, I feel like I sound like such a Debby downer, but as someone who grew up with the "my dad, your mom" or vice versa, I kind of wanted a it ends with us moment for him.
